Risk). With this cover, our liability is limited to $1500 per unit of goods as documented under the Carriage of Goods Act 1979
(Limited Carriers Risk). We must receive any claim for damage in writing within 30 days of the removal date.
Where there is an inherent defect in the goods, or
Where the goods are not properly prepared or packed, or
Where the goods are taken from us by legal process, or
Where the goods are damaged as the result of us trying to save life or property.

Insurance to cover household goods and personal effects stored is easy to obtain. Simply obtain a quote for moving your goods, and add-on cover for the period to be stored. Select one month’s storage for each month or part month you expect your possessions to be stored. Up to six months can be covered automatically, but longer periods can be catered for on request.
